just another day at the pumpkin patch

these kiddos ran straight for the swings.  it's pretty much become the norm.  they love to swing!

they are getting so big!  almost too big for the swings.

after a bunch of playing, we took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch.

grace found her perfect pumpkin!

it took carter a while to find his.  maybe, it was because he was looking for a square pumpkin.

my favorites

then, it was time for a little train ride.

while the kids were bouncing in the inflatables, we got to hang out alone.

the pumpkin patch

We went to the pumpkin patch again!  And guess what?  It was still fun!

The kids went straight for the swings!

Later, Grace said that swinging was her favorite part of the day.

After tons of swinging, they were ready to ride the train.

This was Carter's favorite part of the day...in case you couldn't tell by his awesome smile!

We had a semi-private hayride out to the pumpkin patch.

This was my favorite part of the day!

We were ready to pick some pumpkins!

Carter's decision was easy!  The first pumpkin he saw was the one.

Yep.  This is it!

Grace took a little more thought while picking her pumpkin.

Look how strong these kids are!

They love these pumpkins so much!

Finally, they jumped in the bouncy house.  It was tons of fun...and John's favorite part of the day!

We seriously had such a great time.  Carter is already planning his next trip back...and he thinks it's tomorrow.

Fall really is the best...don't you think?

the pumpkin patch

We took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch the other day and we had a great time.  The kids went straight to the swings, of course.

Carter was so proud of himself...can you tell?  That face is killing me!

Next, it was time for a train ride.  Grace was so excited and Carter was just taking it all in.

Lots more playing...

Grace needs a tire swing...she had so much fun!

Carter wants to be just like his big sister.  Seriously, love him and those red curls!

We finally took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch.  (Dear Santa, John NEEDS some new sunglasses for Christmas, please!)

It didn't take Grace long to find her perfect pumpkin.

Carter thought the pumpkins were great!!!  He loved picking them up and chunking them across the field while I ran around trying to catch him and the pumpkins.

My favorite 2 punkins in the whole world!!!

Love this guy too!

This was in the backseat on the way home.  I think he had a great time...I know I did!

Oh, and by the way, that pumpkin has been very close to that little hand ever since it came home with us.  It even went on an errand to Target the other day.  Ha!
