october

we had a fun girls' afternoon at the urban barn market.

grace is tired of getting beat at around the world by this one particular classmate.  so, she's taking matters into her own hands...handmade flashcards and practice, practice, practice!!!

we painted pumpkins with friends!

we've got some american ninja warriors in training thanks to tripp's awesome party!

hanging out with mawmaw on our day off!

lately

our church has been meeting in the community center and we've been building for a little over a year.  we are getting close to being finished...the steeple is up!

"owe yeah!!!"  i love to read her stories!

there was one day when we weren't busy.

but, they made themselves busy...reading and building a bird house.

we had a yummy lunch with sweet friends!

if you need carter man, you can find him here because his big sister taught him how to swing!

john got a venus flytrap for teacher appreciation week.  this thing scares me almost as much as quicksand does!

we had awana awards night and the ice cream truck came!

the rain keeps ruining our plans, but ice cream helps ease the pain!

an encouraging word from carter..."momma, you're gonna be old soon and then you're gonna be gone."

her nose is stuck in a book.

show and tell day...what should he bring?  stinky shoes or the race car he built?

back at the church property...covering the foundation in scripture, encouraging words, and drawings.

some random moments

Grace worked on her biggest piece of art, so far in her life.  Also, she's an artist.  I know this because she tells me at least once a day.

My life right now...Legos for days!

These three had fun together at dinner.

They looked up beach condos for our summer vacay.  Their must haves:  bunk beds, a pool, and colorful fish decor.

I know this is a bit dramatic, but I said good-bye to a favorite family of mine...the Bravermans.  I was totally not prepared for that goodbye.  Actually, I'm still not over it.  Don't ask me about it.  I will cry.  Ask John.  I will cry.

Carter had an abnormally cooperative day.  He even snuggled with me!

She doesn't need my help anymore.  She worked on her Valentine's all by herself.  I did nothing!

I painted.

And, I organized my iPhone.

Carter Man had to get his tooth pulled.  He fell and hit it on a brick step.  He'll be the toothless wonder...for the next 2+ years.

Weird!  Grace is reading bedtime stories now.
(Where are my babies?!?)

She also reads cookbooks.

And, he has math homework.
(Seriously, where are my babies?!?)

We had a fun night at the Grizzlies game!  We also ate yummy Huey's before the game!

Parent conference night went well...for me.  Hopefully, the mommas and daddies felt the same!

Go Fish "structions":
1.  Be nice.
2.  Be kind.
3.  Don't be grumpy even if you lose or win.
