another day at the beach

The next morning, we headed straight to the beach.  Grace seriously loved all things beachy!

Carter, usually so cool, brought the nerd to the beach.

John and Grace built a pretty cool sandcastle.

Then we buried Grace in the sand.

We took a break from the sun and went out to dinner.

We learned a little about jellyfish.

We ate some yummy fish.

We kissed a fish and made a wish.

We had a fun time at Tacky Jack's and plan on going back.

That's a fact.

we took a trip to the beach!!!

Last Monday, we drove to the beach...just the four of us.  We got checked in to our hotel, unpacked, changed our clothes, and headed to dinner at Lambert's.  It was super yummy and we left completely stuffed!!!

With our tummies full of fried okra and sweet tea, we headed to the beach.

Grace went straight to work...digging in the sand and running through the waves.

Carter just did whatever Grace was doing.

He was very curious about his feet sinking in the wet sand.

She caught a fish and then returned it to the water.

He tried to catch a fish, but he only caught a seashell.

It was a pretty good day.
