take me out to the ballgame

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday at AutoZone Park by cheering on the Memphis Redbirds!

Carter was cracking me up and reminding me of too many lines from The Sandlot..."You're killin' me Smalls!"

I don't think it's possible to go to the ballpark without eating ice cream from a baseball cap bowl.

Carter REALLY wanted to catch a ball!  He sat like this for a LONG time!!!

His persistence paid off!  And, he was super excited!!!

We had lots of fun watching the game, eating snacks, catching balls, and hanging out with Grandpa!

take me out to the ball game

This weekend, we had a fun time at a Memphis Redbirds game.

The boys watched the game while the girls watched the people, the food, the people eating the food, and played with the camera.

Grandpa and Grandma invited us to come along with them and the Taylor fam.

We, for real, had a great time!

Grandpa bought Grace some cotton candy (the last in the stadium) and she happily shared with all the kids and her momma.

silly kiddos

wassup?!?

awww!

After we used about 12 baby wipes to clean the layers of cotton candy off us all, we got ice cream.  Those baseball cap bowls have been used multiple times a day since the game and every time Carter tries to wear it on his head.  Sometimes with food in it and sometimes without.

After the game, we stayed for a great fireworks show!

Grace loved it, but I think she liked sitting with Steph more than the fireworks.

Carter said they were loud and hurt his ears, but he smiled a little.

We had a super fun time!  We all left the game with a smile on our face, a song in our mouth and, a dance in our feet!!!

summer break...we made it!!!

I am beyond excited that school is out!  May was hard for me this year and I am super thrilled to be out of school!  Although, it is hard to believe that Grace has finished her "pre-school career!"  She was excited for her last day of school, but sad to be leaving her teacher and friends.

She gave her friends a little summer treat.

And, she wrote her teacher a little note and gave her this sweet cross that a mom at my school made.

It is so hard to believe that my baby girl is starting kindergarten in the fall.  Time really does fly!  In hopes to make our time spent together this summer special, we made our summer fun list.

During our first summer weekend, we were even able to cross some things off.

We had so much fun at the Redbirds game!

We also got to go swimming!!!

Summer, I love you all ready!!!
